The PixelBolt Team is incredibly excited to announce the release of our game for Jamsepticeye 2025, Grave Gatcha, which is officially available to play!

This game jam marks a huge milestone for us: it was our first time officially participating in a game jam! Although the time was short and challenging, we had so much fun. It was a fantastic learning experience that we’ll definitely use to grow. We plan to join more game jams in the future to continue refining our skills while also working on our main project, Project Nixie!

Game Synopsis

Your Life is Short. Your Grave is Waiting.

DYING ARE YE, GRAVEKEEPER? IT WOULD APPEAR YOU’VE CAUGHT THE OL’ SEPTIC EYE, I SEE.

In our narrative adventure, you take on the role of a gravekeeper who has contracted the terrifying Septic Eye—and you only have five days left to live! The only thing that can save you is an expensive cure-all elixir.

With death fast approaching, you need cash, and you need it fast. Time to get your hands dirty! You'll need to rob the recently departed, sell their possessions at the local pawn shop, and hustle your way to health before you become the next resident of your own graveyard. Remember: Life's Short. Death is Profitable.

Quick Facts:

  • 150 Scenarios - New choices and challenges every day.

  • 4 Possible Endings - Can you beat the clock, or will your grave claim you?

  • Around 15 minutes of playtime per playthrough - Perfect for a quick, high-stakes run!

What’s Next: The Post-Launch Polish

We poured a ton of energy into getting this game ready for the jam deadline, but we know there's always room to refine and polish! We are already planning a post-launch update to make Graveyard Gatcha even better.

This update will focus on:

  • Story Refinements: Enhancing dialogue and narrative clarity.

  • Art Polish: Touching up the pixel art visuals.

  • Bug Fixes: Squashing any issues reported by players.

  • Proofreading: Addressing any remaining grammar or spelling hiccups.

If you happen to find any bugs while playing, please let us know on the game page! We're committed to addressing them ASAP.
